Eric and his partner started Fit & Family magazine in Beaufort, SC. The magazine has a focus around the "four balancing weights" : Family Fit, Physically Fit, Charitably Fit, and Financially Fit. The magazine is produced 6 times a year and is printed on high quality newsprint.
Eric acted as Co-Publisher/Advertising Director, managing all sales including additional sales reps, advertising design and concepting, magazine layout, proof reading, print management, photography, billing and other business managerial duties.

The Discover Magazines are a brand of lifestyle magazines Eric and his partner started in the Roanoke,VA area. The magazines promote living in the area, businesses, and people that make the area what it is.

In January of 2010, Eric and his partner sold both Discover Smith Mountain Lake and the new Discover Roanoke Valley magazines to a new publisher.
The magazines where hailed as a favorite among readers in the area and it had a solid list of subscribers in and out of the area.
